I’m thrilled to announce the latest webinar in the Wiley Diversity in Tech webinar series!
In honor of Women’s History Month, join our panel of experts for a discussion on both the progress made to advance women in technology careers, as well as the work still needed to increase equity and inclusivity — particularly in light of gender impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I’m thrilled to announce that I will be co-authoring a new book for Wiley, currently titled “Innovating for Diversity”! Slated to release in early 2023, the book will be a broader discussion on diversity in the workplace. The book will look at how innovation principles can be applied to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and — through real-life case studies with tech companies — offer lessons learned and actionable guidance for leaders across industries.
I’m delighted to be working with Bertina Ceccarelli, the CEO of non-profit NPower for I know will be a very educational and transformative writing journey. Much more to come, but you can take a look at our teaser trailer below, and sign up for updates at our temporary “coming soon” page.
Join us for the next Wiley Diversity in Tech webinar, on Thursday, February 2, where we’ll discuss combating ageism in the tech workforce.
Increased innovation, better problem-solving, and new potential learning opportunities are a few of the benefits afforded to tech companies that have a multi-generational workforce. For leaders, however, it can be challenging to prevent ageism in the workplace, as well as manage the tensions and frustrations that will naturally arise when five generations are in the tech workforce. This webinar will give leaders guidance and actionable strategies on how to address these challenges.
Our experts for this discussion include Yvette Steele, director of member communities at CompTIA, and Ashley Martinez, supervisor of digital experience, ecosystem enablement at TD Synnex.
As you may know, I have the pleasure as a cloud infrastructure specialist for Azure, which is Microsoft’s cloud computing platform. I also get the distinct pleasure of working exclusively with major professional sports leagues and teams!
But just what exactly does my work entail? What kind of projects do I get to work on? Well, there’s now a podcast that gives some insight into that. Working with my wonderful colleague, Jon Flynn, we started a podcast that shed some light on some of the fun work we get to do, and the great people we get to work with.
We’ve released two episodes so far, both of which are available on Spotify and other major podcast platforms. More episodes are on the way after the Thanksgiving holiday; we’d love any feedback and suggestions for future episodes.
